“More than you know” is an apt title as this book is a collection of essays on variety of subjects divided into four sections - investment philosophy, psychology of investing, innovation and competitive strategy and science and complexity theory. Mauboussin doesn’t hide the fact that his line of thinking on this book has been influenced by Charles Munger’s Multi Disciplinary approach towards knowledge. Book is a pleasure to read and makes you think about investing on various dimensions. Best part about the book is that you can start from any chapter and read in what ever sequence you want. Though it helps to read complete sections at once. I had read some of ideas about behavioral finance, role of genes in our thinking, strategic landscapes etc. in other books. More than you know kind of solidified the ideas. Reading about power laws was great. References at the end are very helpful. Overall a succinct and lucid book on making an investing approach and the pitfalls to avoid.
