Web Applications and Business Server Pages

You can use the SAP Web Application Server to develop Web applications that are based on the Internet Communication Framework and the HTTP request handler IF_HTTP_EXT_BSP. These Web applications are also known as BSP applications (Business Server Page applications). [Link]

How do you consider BSP as part of Netweaver portal

Pavan,

I never said BSPs are part of Netweaver Portal. Why do you think they are? But BSPs are part of Netweaver. BSPs are always hosted on WAS with ABAP stack. So for example for CRM 4.0 with PC-UI front end is driven by BSPs and they are running on top of WAS.
